Thank you for helping us with our 2025 Chandos Lake Fish Survey! The purpose is to get a better gauge on the Chandos fish population. We are asking you to identify yourself partly to eliminate bogus responses, but also because at the end of the Count Period (July 31-August 7 inclusive) there will be a participation draw for a gift certificate. As we are wishing to identify species more precisely, if you could snap a picture of your catch, it would be appreciated! This year it will also be possible to indicate "No Catch This Time"..

The first three questions are mandatory, and the remaining are optional.

The purpose of this survey is to establish some kind of baseline by which we can monitor lake health by way of changes in the fish population. (Lake Trout in particular are subject to stress as a reduction in ice cover days, and warming waters affect their habitat and feeding behaviour.)
As habitat changes, some fish will be winners and others will be losers.

Any data published will be anonymized unless specific permission is given to identify the respondent. The CLPOA reserves the right to use pictures in its publications or promotion of this survey.

Please contact me at chandossier@gmail.com if there are any questions or issues.
